The horses that I have captured and tamed from the previous updates have disappeared from the fenced in area and stalls in my barn that I created in my world. The other animals (chickens, pigs, cows) are still there.

it happens when you place horses in 1.6, then you go back to play 1.5.2 in the same world, and deletes the horses, even when you go back to 1.6.. tip of advice, copy that world, keep one just for 1.6, and the other for 1.5.2
