From what I understand, the OP is saying that the advancement description states 'piercing arrow', when it is in fact the Crossbow that has Piercing.
Response 1: perhaps the Piercing enchantment gives the shot arrows piercing attributes, therefore the arrow could be described as Piercing. Furthermore, the arrow does indeed pierce, so could be described as Piercing.
Response 2: advancement descriptions have never been what the advancement actually is. They are more lore-y and joke-y. Therefore, the description doesn't need to be accurate.
Your bug report seems to be very vague, and hard to understand. Please clarify.
