Since when has Minecraft been true to real life?

It's a game about blocks. Its not suppose to be realistic.

Well for a game that's not supposed to be realistic there's certainly a lot of realism in it, like cats taking no fall damage, spiders being a bug that climbs walls, pandas only breeding under suspicious crcumstances, etc.
