Creative Mode Agro Zombiefied Piglins

I was working on a Zombiefied Piglin farm, and had been repeatedly switching to and from creative mode to work on my design before building it in my server. I had been AFK in survival mode, switched back into creative and they stayed angry at me. The only notable difference in what I did before the bug and after was I used the "F3+F4" menu to switch rather than commands. When I reloaded the world the issue resolved itself, but I felt like this most likely wasn't intentional.
