Rain renders black when observed from a block below the block it's falling onto

Not really, in that report it appears slightly darker, but in this one it looks very dark, almost black, even.

And that one says that it's tricky to reproduce and it's when the rain stops or ends, but this one is consistent, and always happens during the rain.

I did some testing, and apparently it's my world that is corrupted and it makes rain behave in weird ways (it also falls through water in certain chunks), so this can be marked closed.
