[MC-19917] Server Jar is unable to generate any files

1.6.1 servers are unable to generate worlds and various server files and instead shows these errors over and over:
at hn.b(SourceFile:52)
at hn.a(SourceFile:42)

Can you please attach the whole server.log (or at least the part from start to the first complete error message ) ?

Access rights ? Is the server.jar allowed to write in the directories ?
What operating system ?
