[MC-199525] Igloo without basement but with trapdoor

I found a floating Igloo and i went inside, and when i dug a carpet i found a trapdoor that is supposed to lead to a basement but when i opened it it lead to nothing... i even dug about 3 blocks under the trapdoor and still nothing...

Igloos only have a chance of generating with a basement, it is not an 100% guarantee every time.

No, i mean it had a trapdoor that is supposed to lead to a basement that wasn't created by me

do you mean that igloos can generate with a trapdoor under the carpet but not a basement?
