"Sorry, unable to start Minecraft. Please check your configurations" All versions missing in the launcher aswell.

I recently opened my launcher to see the following error code when I tried to start my profile: "Sorry, unable to start Minecraft. Please check your configurations." I tried to reinstall Minecraft completely and try vanilla. I+'ve updated java, my drivers, checked for Windows updates, and tried to restart completely... But nothing seems to work.+ I logged out and logged back in and it still doesn't work. Not only do I get this error, but Minecraft starts MUCH slower than before when starting the launcher. I also am missing all the versions and have no option to even select a version to try to download. Nothing seems to work and I am at lost for how to start my game.
