/playsound bug

At the /playsound feature there is what i call a "Bug" The @a in a commandblock using /playsound NameSound @a does not work in multiplayer. i assume this is a bug that the @a doesn't work in the /playsound command. i wanted to use it in my adventuremap but it won't work. The @p does work the @r i don't know
