Control-clicking in order to right-click (my mouse does not have a right-click) does not work in Minecraft 1.6

My mouse does not have a right-click, and until now I used control-click to right-click. When I opened up Minecraft 1.6 and tried to open a chest using control-click, it hit the chest instead of opening it. I don't know why this happened. Can this be fixed, or will I just have to use another button to replace right-click?

I have this issue as well.

On my mac laptop I just click with two fingers like when I want to copy or paste a picture to a word document and it works although sometimes it does break blocks instead or change what your using. I spent ages trying to work out how to do it

I also have this issue on OSX. I've played with ctrl+click for years so it's not as simple as remapping keys. Please fix this as it's rendered 1.6 virtually unplayable for me.

Just use whatever you use for right clicking this is what works for me.
