Trouble logging in.

When I try to log in, I have the correct username/email and the correct password, It say that the username and/or password is incorrect. This occurs in Minecraft.net as well as the game. I run this game on a pc. I cannot reset the password because the email I signed up with is not in effect anymore. I can't figure out how to change the email my account is linked to, however, I don't believe that correlates to the issue. I would really appreciate the help, thank you.
