If i delete a port forwarding entry on my router for NAT, access to my Minecraft server is lost despite having a A and AAAA DNS record which allows for resolution of IPv4 and IPv6 addresses.
Passing through IPv6 setting to true or disabling IPv4 support does seem to allow for access but that is post facto and it should be set by default.

JVM Arguments are still required to enable IPv6 support which relates to the Java Edition.
