I was looking in the plains butcher village house when I noticed something a little off. The cobblestone walls forming the chimney above the smoker had gaps between them, like what you would see prior to 1.16. Other houses might have this problem but I haven't checked.

@Avoma, what I was trying to say is that the walls were normal in the version they were created, but now in 1.16, the walls are different, meaning the old ones need a block update to be fixed.
Ahh, I see. Well in that case, the report is a duplicate of MC-196347, which hasn't yet been resolved. If you feel that this issue is affecting you, feel free to vote for the duplicated ticket, to give Mojang a basic idea of how many people are impacted by the problem. Just to further inform you, this will not determine how quickly the bug gets handled or fixed.

I don't believe this is a bug as the buildings were just constructed this way. In the screenshot I can see a smoker confirming that their is no old village generation.
