Can't load Minecraft PS4 Edition Red Screen (Mojang Studios)

This issue has persisted for a while and other people have run into this issue as well. When loading Minecraft (I'm not sure about all the specifics like project or versions but it is the latest patch for PS4) it gets stuck on the red screen with the text MOJANG STUDIOS. It stays on this screen and will not let me load into the game. I have the disc version of Minecraft (don't believe it's only disc related) and previous versions/updates have had this issue for a while. The only fix that I have found after research was to delete the game from my PS4 and reinstall it and that is not a proper solution as it's also extremely frustrating. This shouldn't be a hard issue to patch but it makes me wonder how this went under the radar for so long. I hope this is the proper place to discuss this issue and hopefully get it resolved. Just to briefly recap; others including myself cannot load into Minecraft as we are stuck at the red loading screen which displays MOJANG STUDIOS. Thanks for any help.
