[MC-206011] Torch in left hand

hello

when i have my pickaxe in my right hand (my main one) and some torches in my left hand i cannot put the torches on redstone ore

This is because the game thinks you are activating the redstone. Invalid

This is the same for items such as water as well. You are unable to do this because instead of placing the block, you activate the redstone ore.

You can place a torch on Redstone Ore by holding shift while right-clicking
