Playing on Nintendo Switch. I got killed in the Nether, respawned in my base. Seemed to take a bit longer than normal. My 3x3 wall of double chests all turned to single chests and were reduced to half of their contents. Lost a lot of excellent items. Not sure how to get the screenshot from my Switch to you.

Just to let you know, you have reported this issue in the wrong project section. You mentioned that this problem occurred when playing on Nintendo Switch and therefore this is not related to Java Edition, and should instead be reported in the MCPE section.
