Simply cannot punch anything no matter what i do. i can hit people but no blocks. No leaves no dirt. Punch= Bare hands no tools no food no anything in them

Sorry for not being more clear. I've tested this on both single player and multiplayer and i have the same issue. I've tried re downloading the new launcher already. And other players can punch while i cannot. Is this a problem with my settings? I've looked through all of what i know with the settings and still cant find the issue.
I'm guessing this is on a server? and furthure more, I'm guessing your near the spawn of said server, so I'm going to veture out and say they have moded the server to allow for a spawn point to be protect to a certain radius.
Go out 500 blocks in a general direction and see if the problem still exists.
