When I surround an iron bar with glass panes the glass panes interconnect but they do not connect with the iron bars. I mean, they have the same thickness and it would look awesome if they interconnect but they don't......

They never connected to eachother and isn't a bug i think.
It are just 2 diffrent blocks that need a full block to connect.
