F3 + T Random Crash

This issue is not consistent or repeatable as I am not aware what specifically is causing it.

On pressing F3 + T most occasions will operate as intended however on this version I have now this crash report twice in two days.

I have the error report but it apparently is too big to post.

F3 + C is supposed to do that (After 6 seconds of holding them both down)

F3 + T is supposed to reload all texture, sounds and web-loaded client resources.

I'm not a mod or anything but is your computer strong enough to run the reloads?

@Bar Israeli

Yes. I use F3 - T specifically for sound changing between my work headset and speakers and back again. I've done this regularly for more than a year. This is the first (and second) time I have had this occur.

As to the power of computer affecting it, it works as well on my socket 775 machine and on my AMD X2 (one for hardware hacks and the other I have been using for a NAS when not used as a computer) and on my wife's AMD FX and on my daughters 6th gen i5. I've only had this crash with this release. I wish it happened more actually, but I have tried repeatedly to get this to happen with repeated presses of F3 - T without luck. (then I try again just now and crash..)

CR on Minecraft 1.16.4 running Java 8.0_51-b16 on Windows 10 Proย 20H2.

i've got an 8x AMD Ryzen 5 3400G processor and an 8gb Radeon RX 580 card. according toย [this StackOverflow page with a similar runtime error|https://stackoverflow.com/questions/25406681/jvm-crash-exception-access-violation], it could possibly be an issue with Java and DirectX, as their responses are to un- and re-install the graphics drivers, disable any card utilities, or to use JVM arguments to disable DirectX.

regardless, i vote to close this as it doesn't seem to specifically be a Minecraft issueโ€“this looks to be specifically Java, which can't be fixed with a Minecraft update.

I will agree that if this is a bug with Java that this should be closed. My graphics are auto-installed and updated via AMD and I will revisit my Java installation.

Quick Q: JVM arguments to disable DirectX. What is the specific argument as I've not done that one before.
