The Bug:
Sculk sensors are not activated upon water from wet sponges evaporating in the nether.
Steps to Reproduce:
Place a wet sponge in the nether using the following command, as placing one manually will trigger a sculk sensor.
/setblock ~ ~ ~ minecraft:wet_sponge
→ ❌ Notice how the sculk sensor does not activate upon doing this.
Additional Information:
Quote from the 20w49a Changelog, "A vibration is anything that causes physical motion". I would consider this as physical motion, as a block is changing state. This report relates to MC-208512 and since this was confirmed, it would only make sense for this to be considered an issue as well.
