My bug is that I am not able to type or do a command while playing in my Minecraft world. I was able to switch between Creative and Survival easily, but when I tried doing it today, nothing would show up.

Have your keys been unbound?
You can check this by:
Opening a world
Press Esc
Settings
Controlls
Scroll through until you see "Open Chat" & "Open Command"
Rebind or Do nothing
Edit: you can also do this through the world menu
This usually happens when switching between versions
Or
Are you on a modified world or version of Minecraft?
