server. difficulty hard. I am getting attacked by golems suddenly. I went from discount prices in my village to golem rage on site. I assume I hit a villager accidentally (but I shouldn't have enough times warrant this , but not important). To date I have traded and raised village worker levels from apprentice to master by buying and selling the last item on their list enough times that I should be over 0 even if I was at -30. golems still attack on sight and villager prices and not in my favour still.

Didn't even wait for an answer before you marked it resolved. My issue is I can get my popularity back up to a point where golems stop and prices go down. I have spent untold hundreds of emeralds raising worker levels and buy the last item on their list. Even if I was at full negative 30 the pluses I should have gained should put me bat above 0.
From Minecraft official wiki. "A player's popularity starts at zero and ranges between −30 and 30 in Java Edition"
"Iron golems spawned by a village will be hostile toward any player who has a popularity score of −15 or less."
There is no way I should be below -15 let alone below 0 given I have raised 4 villagers from apprentice to master since this started.
Which that alone should should be +40 to popularity. (wiki)
I am not expecting this to be fixed for me. just reporting what I think is a bug as my popularity does not seem to be changing.
Iron golems will also attack any players that attack them, regardless of popularity. Did you hit any? You didn't answer my question.
yes, when this all started. due to lag I hit one. And yes, that is when it all started. But golems that chase me are removed by them falling to a lava trap. (not touched by me). But again.....not the point of my report. village popularity is not coming up regardless of the trades, level raises etc.... new spawned golems attack on sight. I have spent a week over the holidays doing nothing but selling things for emeralds and then buying the last item on every workers list, raising worker though the levels and my popularity remains low enough that newly village spawned golems attack on sight.
garry, reports that require more information are marked as resolved and their resolution is set to Awaiting Response. When you reply when the requested information, the ticket will automatically be reopened, hence why the ticket was resolved without a reason.
