[MC-210760] F5 in desert causes strange effects with mobs

how to replicate:
1. go to desert
2. press F5
3. look at mobs through you head. Some will appear hidden, almost at random.

I don't think this is a graphical issue, as setting graphics to Fabulous! seems to fix the issue. Also the glitch seems to occur in all biomes and seems to affect water as well
