[MC-211011] Sitting and tamed wolves can go into boats

So I wanted to see if my friend's sitting dog could go in a boat and when the dog collided with the boat, he was put into it. I am able to use the boat just like i can, such as move it, break it, etc.

All mobs can go into boats, I don't see what the issue is here

I think he may mean that sitting dogs can still get into boats, but maybe only standing dogs should be able to.

Here are some steps to reproduce this issue:

Tame a wolf / cat.
Make your pet sit.
Place a boat next to it.
→ ❌ Notice how the mob enters the boat despite it being sat down.
