Resizing The Minecraft Window CRASHES The Game

NOTE: THE AFFECTED VERSIONS PART ISNT THE TRUE VERSIONS THAT ARE AFFECTED, THE REAL AFFECTED VERSIONS ARE: 1.16.3, 1.16.4, and probably other versions.

I launched minecraft and I pressed the rectangle in the window.
After that it started to not respond, I thought to myself: maybe it's just some lag and it will wear off
After a few minutes I started getting concerned and just crashed my game
I tried launching it AGAIN without changing the window size one bit and it had 0 issues
I tried making it fullscreen while it was already in the title screen but it just started to do the thing again
I tried another version and trying just vanilla without optifine but vanilla just brought in more problems and it didnt even get to the title screen, it just wouldnt launch
I tried downgrading to 1.16.3 but it still didnt work.
Downgrading to 1.8 seems to fix the problem but that isnt a permanent fix.
