I bought a Minecraft Java code on January 30th. in the afternoon, I decided to redeem it. It worked and I got the game. I played it, and it worked for 2-3 days. But today, the minecraft launcher just wont open. ive unistalled, reinstalled, looked on yt, twitter, restarted my pc 3 times, and nothing is working. My mother is saying to try to clear cash files, so I will try that, but I am not sure if it will work. if it does, I will respond with another message saying its fixed by 3:00. but if not, then I still have the problem.
Edit: a lot of the files had an error while uploading, but there is still on ton on.

THE ENTIRE POINT IS THAT I CANT EVEN OPEN THE LAUNCHER
I have the same Issue as Michael Melo, My Minecraft worked until the latest update and now i can't even get the launcher to open.
I have tried every trouble shooting comment i have read , official and unofficial none seem to work , Uninstalled reinstalled numerous times.
Uninstalled Java reinstalled Java ( just in case my Java was corrupt ) The Java Version in C:/Program files/java is ( 1.8.0_281 ) but yet the Java version inside the Minecraft Folder/runtime/jre-x64 is ( 1.8.0_51 ) so maybe this is what is causing the issue.
Maybe by default Minecraft Launcher is using Version 1.8.0_281 from the default install directory for Java instead of using the one that the launcher downloads and installs in the Minecraft folder , or maybe the 2 different versions of Java are clashing, either way i can not point the launcher to any of the folders to use because i can't find any config files or the launcher just will not open.

I clicked the Community Support and it directed me to Discord , so i joined it . maybe there should be in brackets that the community support is discord ?

@Michael Melo i joined the discord server for help and with in minutes i got this reply.
You may need to reinstall the locally installed files that Minecraft puts into place.
To do so, press your Windows+R keys, type in %AppData% at the dialog, and press Enter. In the window that appears, open the .minecraft directory, and delete everything except for the saves directory that you see therein. Then, try running Minecraft again. Good luck!
I did exactly as that said and all is back up again there is a folder called .minecraft ( dotminecraft ) it should be near the top, just delete everything out of there apart from the save folder if you want to keep your saves.

Please could you attach the crash report which can be found in minecraft/crash-reports/crash-<DATE>-client.txt. If for some reason you cannot provide this, please attach the full launcher log which can be found in minecraft/launcher_log.txt. Supplying the team with this information would help them to determine what the problem is. Thanks!
