[MC-213752] Flat world ring

So today on 2/3/21 I logged on a regular gen world from 1.16.4 to 1.16.5 and saw after a while of flying from spawn that the entire had a giant flat world ring around it

1.16.4 and opened it in 1.16.5

I also checked the seed and it was seed 0

so i tried to open seed 0 in another world but the entire world was different

I check the seed and it was now 43 for some season

Did you edit the .dat file, I think the seed is stored there?

Does MC-186087 describe your issue?

Note: You seem to be using a non-vanilla client. Try replicating the bug with a vanilla client.

However, this issue is Invalid.

Your game, launcher or server is modified.
If you can reproduce the issue in a vanilla environment, please recreate the issue.

Any non-standard client/server/launcher build needs to be taken up with the appropriate team, not Mojang.
Any plugin issues need to be addressed to the creator of the plugin or resource pack.
If you have problems on large servers, such as The Hive and Hypixel, please contact them first as they run modified server software.
