Hanging Root Decoration floats when placed on rooted dirt and then the rooted dirt is destroyed

If you place a hanging root on a rooted dirt block and then remove the rooted dirt block the hanging root will not break and instead stay suspended with no support. This would be fine if you could place the hanging root without support, but you cannot.
