As the title says, If you place a dripleaf in water, then remove the water (sponge, bucket) then the dripleaf stays where it is without being broken. the small dripleaf however, does get broken

Can confirm.
Big Dripleaf can be placed on dirt without water (which is why it did not break). Not sure if that is intentional.
