Replacing an existing fluid with a different fluid does not trigger the fluid placed event. For example, placing a lava source, then placing a water source in the same block. This fails to work in cauldrons as well.

Cannot reproduce. Or at least I am getting a consistent output from the sensor as expected.
Do you have any datapacks that replace the vibrations.json?
