Invisible piglin brute

I'm playing the game as normal and enter a piglin fortress to loot it when I start getting hit by something so I turn around and hold my shield something is hitting it but imcant see anything. Eventually my sheild breaks and I get killed because I can't hit the piglin. Please look into this because this was a hardcore world that I spent a lot of time on and I'm not happy i had to some glitch in the game
