Aquifers don't connect to the caves when in another cave, they kind of make a wall that prevents them from connecting.

Steps to Reproduce

  1. Find an aquifer

  2. Change your gamemode to spectator, or find a weird looking terrain in the aquifer.

  3. That terrain is another terrain system that the aquifer is not connecting to.
