Since the 1.7th but at least since the 1.8th the Sounds largeBlast1.ogg also largeBlast_far1.ogg won't loaded from resource Packs anymore. This is going from back then until today. Due to the fact, that I use Fireworks only on my Birthday until they are useable in Crossbows and that I sign up here yesterday, so that I am able to report bugs, I am reporting this today.
What I expected to happen was...:
If I am using A fire charge in a firework rocket and shoot the rocket, I expect to hear the Blast sound largeBlast1.ogg from the resource Pack, which is correctly installed. The launch sound, the blast sound, twinkle etc. are played correctly from the resource Pack. But **largeBlast1.ogg doesn't played. The original sound is played instead of the sound from the resource pack.
What actually happened was...:
If I use A Fire charge in A firework rocket and fire it, the standard blast sound of both large blast sounds versions are played which is in the Game itself. Although I have another one in the resource packs.
These sound of the resource packs were played in the Minecraft earlier Versions. This happens in the Linux-Version also in the Windows-Version, so I suppose that every released Version could be affected. Linux and Windows are confirmed by me. I would be happy to hear my heavy Blast sound from the resource pack again. Also. Is it intended that I hear only one big bang, if I use 3 to 5 Firework stars in one Rocket? The stars are exploding one after another, but only one big blast is what I hear. I rather expect, that I would hear 3 Bangs if I use 3 Stars? Could you answer me this? I am interested wether it is a bug or intended.
Also, every other sound are played regularly from the resource Pack. I also renewed the Resource Pack sound for a test but the Game did just play the original Minecraft sound. I also added the sounds in newest Resource Packs Version, due to the fact the Resource Pack is for an old version. But the try in new Resource Pack always did fail too.
Optional Question: Would it be possible to give Large Fireballs more damage effects then the other e.g. Creeperface or small Fire Ball have? I can't see A difference but it could be slightly more realistic so I am asking, as long I am talking about fireworks now.
Steps to Reproduce:
1. I put that resource pack below in the resource pack of my game folder. In the Game, I choose the Resource Pack SnowSong.
2. I open A world and craft A firework rocket with A star made of A Fire_Charge.
3. I start the Rocket and it Explodes bis A big Fire Ball and the standard largeblast sound is played. Instead of the Resource Pack version.
4. I can also use several Firework Stars in one rocket. I usually expect e.g. 4 single Blasts depending on what effect I am using. But the largeblast is what I hear of course the standard version instead of the Resource Pack version
Any resources in resource packs cannot have any capital letters.
Correct names are
