if u go to 1.9 relese and delete single player worlds and go back to the latest version of minecraft java a wired glitch happends u have to hold left click to move items u can't craft proply and u can't get 64 of one thing and u can't shift click

Please don't duplicate your own reports. As was said in the parent report MC-215327, downgrading versions is not supported

You probably have touchscreen mode enabled. Disable it to fix the issue.
