Game crashed and upon reloading, my entire surrounding environment was completely ruined. There were entire chunks standing on top of the ground, numerous structures had been torn apart and spread around my location. Hardcore mode as well, my walled in village is now spread all around me.

Unfortunately there is nothing you can do beside loading the world from a backup if you have one or try to fix it manually (you will find steps on how to do that in 161823). Duplicate of MC-161823
