Top texture of cactus in a flower pot still disappears when a slab is placed above it in the upper half

There are other bug reports saying this issue has been resolved, but I just tested it in a new vanilla 1.16.5 world. The top texture of a cactus in a flower pot disappears when there is a slab placed in the upper half of a block above it. The type of slab doesn't seem to matter.
