Deepslate block has the same side texture as the cobbled deepslate block, I don't think this is intentional so I am reporting it as a bug

As stated above, this, "Works As Intended" as stated in the 21w08a changelog. "The cobbled variant is the same but without the top texture".
This is not a bug: from the 21w08a notes:
