1.6.1 server being listed as 1.3

So I still use 1.5.2 because there is a server that I like to play on. I see other servers on my list that I know are running 1.6.1. But the screen says that they're running 1.3. I know that this is not just craftbukkit. I play on a vanilla server and it says 1.3. My server on the list in the screenshot, listed as "The City of Minecraft!", I upgraded to 1.6.1 an hour ago. It is clearly listed as 1.3 by the client.
