The Bug:
The channeling enchantment doesn't work when thrown at entities inside powder snow.
Steps to Reproduce:
Summon a medium-sized area of powder snow by using the command provided below.
/fill ~5 ~ ~5 ~-5 ~ ~-5 minecraft:powder_snowSet the weather to "thunder" and give yourself a trident enchanted with channeling by using the command provided below.
/give @s minecraft:trident[minecraft:enchantments={"minecraft:channeling":1}]Spawn any entity inside of the powder snow and throw your trident enchanted with channeling at it.
Take note as to whether or not the channeling enchantment works when thrown at entities inside powder snow.
Observed Behavior:
The channeling enchantment doesn't work.
Expected Behavior:
The channeling enchantment would work.

I'd said no. Powder snow does not match the description of this report, therefore it should be related and not marked as a duplicate. Also relates to MC-125773.
@unknown, this is not a duplicate of MC-134920. See the above conversation.
As owner of MC-134920 I have updated the description by adding powder snow. My ticket is just more generic than yours as it covers every blocks/entities affected, I don't know if this could be considered a duplicate or not.
Does MC-134920 describe your issue?
