Iron golem doesn't attack players after hit

I created this world in creative mode and cheats on. The world is normal, not superflat, etc.

I found a village with natually spawned iron golems. I then switched to survival mode and hit it. It had actions trying to attack me; however it did not deal absolutely any damage to me.

I then teleported about 10000 blocks away and found another village. The natually spawned iron golems did not deal any damage to me when it tries to attack me.
