Minecraft shuts down as soon as it comes up

When I press play in the the Minecraft launcher it starts to come up but then it shuts down at the Mojang screen and gives a crash report.

I expected it to start.

It crashes at the start of minecraft.

1.Downloaded the new launcher
2.Start the launcher
3.Login
4.Crash
