INTERNAL EXCEPTION: JAVA.IO.IOEXCEPTION: BAD PACKET ID 128
This error makes it so that I cannot play online on my friends server. He has to restart the server in order for me to join again, and it just happens a couple hours later anyways. We updated the server to 1.4.3 for a test and now when I join, my game crashes once I click join server. We are currently on 1.4.2 and still not possible for me to join, It also seems like that who ever is on with me at the time that I get the error, also gets kicked out of the game, they can join back, but then they might get the same error just as I, like its contagious! It sure does seem that way, now we all get the error after a couple hours and it wont stop.

I'm playing on a server where the same problem occurs. It works fine, but suddenly at some point it crashes to a bug report. It happens to all players EXCEPT to those who are currently in Nether. It arouses our curiosity I must admit. When everyone wants to join again, it turns out that some players receive various Bad Packets or the thing which I attach to this post, and additionaly, when an "infected" player tries to connect, he causes everyone to get the same InternalException:java.io.IOExecption
Resseting a servers helps, but that solution is temporary.
We're using Bukkit 1.4.2 Beta Build. I've found comments on mojang.atlassian.net that Beacons might be the source of this issue, however, I highly doubt it.
I hope MC/Bukkit will be fixed in upcoming version ASAP.
See also MC-2106, according to the symptoms that might be the same problem
Please attach the bug report.
