If you pick up an iron ingot from the ground, almost 1 second later you receive the advancement. However, if you get it from a furnace, you take over 10 seconds to receive it. This seems to be happening to this advancement specifically. But i suggest you guys search if there's any other.

Can confirm. I had to drop my diamonds, pick them back up, put them in a chest and then take them back out to get an advancement. Similar thing happened with crafting recipes, they were very delayed as well.
