this happens every once in awhile where the hot bar items glitch out with static. it hadn't happened since 1.16.3 or 4 and it will clear most times when the game is shutdown, left for a few then restarted. Stacked items do retain the number and I will attach a screenshot. I believe it happens while crossing chunk boarders and sticks till a full restart. In previous versions of the issue you'd get a hold on sounds but not this time. I also believe this is the second time it effected the held item.

sorry it took awhile to find the crash reports, the one today had the issue reported happen yesterday with no visual but the item health bars then before the actual crash doors and trap doors only half opened (bottoms instantly closed when the door was open clicked or tops when the bottom was clicked) and trap doors when activated went back to the closed position way quicker then when a trap door is on a zero tick clock

If for some reason you cannot provide this, please attach the full launcher log which can be found in minecraft/launcher_log.txt. Supplying the team with this information would help them to determine what the problem is.
