[MC-220354] Most items that are 2 blocks high, shows crack on one side where you're breaking it

So the bug is when you punch something that is 2 blocks high, it only shows crack on side where you are punching

What I expected to see

The whole thing cracking

What I really see

Cracks on one side and it drops the whole item

Will this be work as intended, or a duplicate or an invalid. And I'm waiting for someone saying can confirm.

However, this issue is Invalid.

Your game, launcher or server is modified.
If you can reproduce the issue in a vanilla environment, please recreate the issue.

Any non-standard client/server/launcher build needs to be taken up with the appropriate team, not Mojang.
Any plugin issues need to be addressed to the creator of the plugin or resource pack.
If you have problems on large servers, such as The Hive and Hypixel, please contact them first as they run modified server software.
