The Bug:

The hotbar background texture uses the old sand texture.

If you look at the background texture of one of your slots in your hotbar, you will notice it uses the old texture of sand.

Steps to Reproduce:

  • Look at the background texture of one of your hotbar slots.

  • Take note as to whether or not the hotbar background texture uses the old sand texture.

Observed Behavior:

The hotbar background texture uses the old sand texture.

Expected Behavior:

The hotbar background texture would not use the old sand texture. Instead, it should use the new sand texture.

It is hard to notice, but I can confirm.

This isnt meant to be sand and you can even tell from the fact that each slot is different from one another. It's just the "trick" that the devs used to use to make UI elements look shaded by simply adding noise over them.

Isn’t that WAI? The hotbar looks good and it doesn’t matter (at least to me) if the texture is outdated or not

I'm pretty sure that sand should not be in the hotbar because the texture updates point is to posterize and make textures a bit more realistic, in this case the hotbar should use a plain translucent gray square.
