Changing the Capitalization in your username completely impossible

Hey, I am aware that other topics with this same subject have been made but this one is in relation to it being completely impossible now.

In April of 2020 namechanging fully moved from the mojang website, to the Minecraft website. Now this was great but it removed the feature of changing name capitalization saying that it was taken. You could do it through the API up until December of 2020 when the API fully moved. Now it is completely impossible through the API as it gives you the same error message as if you try to change your username to an already taken one. The worrying thing is that it seems like not even Mojang staff members can change capitalization as seen on the profile "WMWM"s name history. They requested a capitalization change through mojang support and the mojang rep had to change their username from wmwm to WMWM_, then to WMWM. This is quite worrying due to the fact that a lot of people use the capitalization changing feature.
