Sometimes all furnaces stop working, I tried crafting new ones, replacing them, but nothing works. I noticed this on furnaces in nether dimension, while all furnaces in overworld continued working normally.
This happened on a vanilla multiplayer server. I couldn't find a workaround other than restarting the server. Upon restarting all furnaces are working again.
