No overworld ore generation on single biome of nether type

There is no overworld type ore generation on any nether based biome for a single biome game. However nether ores are generated, such as gold, quartz, and ancient debris. I found this to happen on every nether based biome selected when creating single biome. See attached screenshots.

Steps to reproduce:

  1. Go create a new game

  2. World type: single biome -> customize -> select Crimson Forest (or any nether biome)

  3. Use fill command or dig and you will see no ores are generated in the stone, however nether ores are generated in netherrack.

Works as intended and probably a duplicate of an older report. Ore blobs decorations base on stone material and quartz, nether gold and debris have base_stone_nether, which doesn't contain stone by default, set as allowed stone material.

hmm, I searched and could not find an earlier report. I hope its not as intended, as its impossible to find redstone, coal, amethyst, lapis, emeralds, and copper. However Iron and diamonds can be found in chests. I've done plenty of survival games on single biomes and caves and had 1 or 2 items be impossible to get. But this is a lot. I would think if they intended to have no overworld ores, they would at least spawn the world with netherrack, basalt, or blackstone in place of stone/deepslate.

Can confirm, however, this is most likely intentional. Also affects 21w15a.
