[MC-223205] Pistons Dont work in certain chunks

this bug has affected our server from 21w13

essentially, in some areas in the word, you can power a piston and if you unpower it then update it from the top, it turns into a buggy block that if you stand on you glitch around. Also if you power a piston in the same buggy chunks and break the body, the pistonarm stays as is shown in the video.

im not trying to push any block. it is just piston updates. if you click on the video you can see what the bug is

Your fps is low. That might be the problem because some blocks don't update when your fps is low.

i know in the video my game looks like I'm playing on a powerpoint but in reality, my recording software is terrible as my game was running at around 100fps and all of the other people in the vid had high fps and the bug was still happening. it has been happening a lot recently but the thing is, it only happens in certain areas.
